habit

i take pride in my punctuality.
so I want my children to be just like meI have never missed my classes at school.and in almost all of the case, I rarely late for class.My parents have shown me that keeping the appointment is crucial. they always told me it is very important to keep the appointment because it reflects how reliable you are.and i belive really it is.so i want my children to have a habit of puncuality.
but there is, ofcourse, bad habit that i don`t want my children to learn from me.I don`t clean my desk very often.if i mess up the desk, i don`t clean that right away.I always put cleaning things off until i face the problem such like missing the assignments that i have to hand in. Disorder on the desk reflects itself in the disordered state of my thoughts every time I sit down to work .So, these days,i manage to clear my desk every night before i go to bed. but still, it`s hard to keep doing this sort of things.I have to keep it up.so i don`t want my children to learn this bad habit from me.

about my father.

My father`s name is kibae.
He is currently american company`s korea branch manager.
he is a men just like a Rock.a stone. he is not very frindly and doesn`t talk much just like other fathers in korea.
He always only treated me as a child.
he didn`t tell me anything about what he think
about our financial status. about what he is concerning.

But after I `ve finished my military service.
He recognized me as a grown person
and then we finally started to communicate.
but because I came out from the army just 3 month ago, and He is living in pusan because of his company.
so we couldn`t able to have lots of conversation.

so I thought it would be a great chance to know him more.
sitting in front of my father with beer and chiken.
I asked him a few questions.

the first question I asked him was "is there anything you regret in your life?"
then he said yes. with bitter smile.
few years ago, when he was running his own business, he went to america to buy some product.
but he had made a wrong decision.
After he bought that product,when he came back from america, it turns out that the quality of that product was poor.
and no one bought it from him. and he just continued to pay for storage(스토릿지)fee.
it lead him to have a big loss .
and he told me that it was the most stupid mistake that he ever made.


I focused on his weakness because he was so big person to me in the past.
so i wanted to know his very personal characteristic.


the secend question that i asked him was " what is your greatest fear?"
he said "my greatest fear is a losing health."
he lost his one of best friend two years ago because of the cancer.
after that he started to concern about his health.
"if i`m dead, who`ll feed you? he added at last.

my third and final question was "Is there a hope or dream you have for the future?"
he has been all around the world for business and just has been to the canadian rocky once as a trip with my mom.
and he was so impressed to that mountain at the moment.
he said he want to go to the canadian rocky once again with sons.
that was my father`s dream for the future. and i said then why don`t we go there on winter vacation?

there`s one thing that i don`t like about my father.
he drinks too much. I know there`s so many business occasions that he need to drink archoholic beverages.
and i know that`s for us.
but.. he sometimes gets drunk, I don`t want to see acting drunken
because he is my hero. i don`t want to see my hero collapse.
so i hope my father try not to drink too much arcohol.

and ofcourse, there`s so many things that i like about my father.and here`s one thing.
my father always encourage me to do something.
he tells me that i`ll support you. i`ll help you so you just do what you want to do!.
he lost his father when he was just 5 years old. he always missed someone like father.
who can support him and who can encourage him.

so he always try to tell me that you have A father. ME.
I`ll support you. you can do whaterer you want.
I`m so moved whenever he tells me that.
